Dash recently celebrated her eighth birthday and it has been about three years since she rescued the Freitas Family after her several stints at the Pasco Animal shelter after failed attempts to find suitable humans to tend to her. Dash has been an active supervisor of all float build weekends and has even watched over the most recent board meeting. She has also been very active at keeping all squirrels a safe distance from the float during construction, even chasing a few into neighbors yards and garages.
Smitty (aka Diane Smith) has lived in New Port Richey for 39 years and raised her two children here who are Gulf High School Alumni. She has a bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration and her MBA from St. Leo University. She works for an attorney’s office in New Port Richey and is a Notary. Her interests are fixing up her new home in downtown NPR, tooling around town in her golf cart and working on her vegetable garden. Being a member of the Krewe of Chasco for over 14 years she is very proud of the direction the Krewe is going and it’s continued involvement in the community.
Mark has been a Krewe of Chasco member since 2010 and an Officer or Director for over 6 years. He is currently in his final year as Vice President. He is looking forward to another great chapter in the Krewe’s history.

Tonja Maple lives in New Port Richey with her husband and borador puppy, Cash. She has a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from University of South Florida (Go Bulls!!), works for a healthcare company in Tampa, and is a notary public. Tonja's interests include running, Starbucks, karaoke, and reading.

Scott has been married to Jennifer for 28 years and they have three children (Two are members of the Krewe). Scott's been in the Krewe only a couple years, but enjoys tinkering around in his garage which makes him perfect for the Float Director role. His day job is with an IT & business consulting firm in Tampa. His interests are anything outdoors, but especially boating on the family pontoon boat. The Freitas Family is ruled by their four doggos, CJ, Dash, Lucky & Finn.
